Interested in becoming involved in how community networks can support individuals in their recovery from extreme stress or psychological trauma?

“Everyone experiences some form of psychological trauma at some stage in their lives, and often those experiences shape who we are. Sometimes, however, the trauma is overwhelming and the symptoms disrupt life and make it hard to continue with your daily activities.”

buddygroups are delighted to be involved with an informative public engagement day at the University of Exeter on 20th May. The aim of the day is to bring together both service users and providers who are interested in building sustainable community networks – to support individuals in their recovery from extreme stress or psychological trauma. The event will provide an opportunity for people from different backgrounds to connect and discuss ways forward in a relaxed and informal environment.

You can visit the official information page, on the stressCare UK website, from where you can also register your attendance (which is required).

Hope to see you there.

Best wishes,
